How do I book a class?

Booking is easy! Head to our Classes & Timetable page and find the class you'd like to attend. Each class has its own card with all the information you need, including the location, day and time. Simply select Find Out More on the class you'd like to attend, select your preferred location and time and follow the booking instructions. You can choose your payment option during the booking process, including a single-class booking or if you have purchased a package/pass you will be offered that as an option to pay. Then your spot is secured!

Can I just turn up to a class, or do I need to book?

Drop-ins are welcome! 💜 You don't have to commit to a course, membership or class pass to join us. If you'd like to come along to a class or course on the day, you will be welcomed the same as everyone else, for courses (where applicable) it is a £10 drop-in rate, where classes you will just pay the standard £7.50 rate on the day. However, booking in advance is recommended where possible, as it helps you secure your place and makes sure you have all the details you need before you arrive.

I've never been to an Active Life Fusion class before. Can I join?

Absolutely! 💜 You don't need to be an expert, super-fit or have any previous experience to join us. Our classes are designed to be welcoming, supportive and enjoyable, with options to suit different fitness levels and abilities. Whether you're completely new to exercise, returning after a break or simply looking for something fun and different, you're very welcome. Come along, have fun and move at your own pace. ✨

How do I know which class is right for me?

We offer a variety of classes, so there's something for different interests, goals and abilities. If you're looking for dance and feel-good fitness, you might enjoy one of our Zumba Gold or Disco Glow classes. If you'd like to focus on strength, try Strength & Resistance. If you are looking to find out how intense a chair workout can be, give Zumba Sentao a go. The Art of Burlesque for confidence and self-expression, and Boogie Family Fit for families to exercise, have fun and make memories together. Where are your classes held?

Our classes take place at a number of venues across the local area, including Brighton, Hove, Saltdean and Patcham. Because different classes are held at different locations, always check the class card before booking or attending. The class card will show you the venue, so you'll know exactly where you need to go. If you're unsure about the location of a particular class, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

What should I wear to class?

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely. There is no special fitness outfit required - just wear something you feel comfortable and confident in. For footwear, choose something suitable for the type of class you're attending. If a particular class has any specific clothing or footwear requirements, these will be included in the class information.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend bringing water to keep yourself hydrated and anything you personally need to feel comfortable during the class. For most classes, that's all you'll need! If a particular class requires anything additional, we'll let you know in the class information before you attend.

What happens if I don't know anyone at the class?

That's absolutely fine! 💜 You won't be the only person who has come along on their own. Our classes are about enjoying movement, meeting people and having fun - not about who you arrive with. Whether you come with friends, family or completely on your own, you'll be made very welcome. So if you've been thinking "I'd love to try it, but I don't know anyone..." - this is your sign to come along! ✨

What is a course drop-in?

A course drop-in lets you join an individual course session without signing up for the complete course. Where available, the drop-in price is £10 per session and is paid for separately. It's a great way to try something new before committing to the full course. Please check the individual course information to make sure drop-ins are available for the course you're interested in.
